Proud of forcing people to the back of the bus because of their skin
color?

Have some tea.
And you are supposed to have an education? Was the Dem's who went in to the
south after the civil war, and were the Carpet Baggers. Was Dem's who
supported slavery before the war. The Republican Party was founded as an
anti-slavery party. But you seem to ignore real facts. You are either a
liar or really ignorant. And since you claim to have advanced degrees, you
must not be ignorant.
And does this indicate where the parties lay as we speak?
Hell no. The Republicans have devolved into a party of big business
that separates the electorate by divisive issues like abortion.
They're experts at getting stupid people to vote against their own
interests in hopes of protecting something that's largely illusory.
The Democrats have learned to chase the money that they so coveted as
it they watched it showered on the Republicans by those who sought
influence.
Now they're Republican and Republican lite.
The health care reform that was just passed is a Republican wet dream.
It's modeled on the health care being a market instead of a service.
We've gone off into the bushes of the right wing. Hopefully, the
pendulum will swing back towards the left and bring some ****ing
sanity to the world.
