Actually, I have, 2008 no less. I was going to quit but said what the
heck, I knew it was coming so I stayed waiting for the juicy
serverance
package. Even joked about it with my boss. Boy, did I party that
day.
Took a whole month off promising not to even look for a job but my
wife got mad at me figiting at home. Got one in 8 days once I started
looking and calling around. Never even collected EI.

In the month, I studied the market and existed to mostly cash before
the
crash. LMAO. The luck of the timing to have the 401K in cash going
to
the IRA roll over and the Canadian part evaluated before the September
crunch and in cash in the LIRA... They have since reduced the
pensions... LMAO again... So in January-March of 2009 I reinvested
making a killing.

would take care of you...as opposed to your wish for the US middle
class...that their children just die if their parents lose coverage

That is the parents fault. Take the kids away and adopt them to

I wonder how many companies on the edge of keeping or laying off will

off because this passes. Bet March/April unemployment numbers grow. Bet
