It's nice that your daughter is doing a little better, Herring, but do
we really need to be bombarded with your familial medical saga?
Everyone has family members or close friends who are seriously ill or
who have died prematurely from a horrid illness.
A close friend of mine recently lost his daughter-in-law to cancer.
Perhaps I should have posted a running saga of her demise?
It's a good cause. If she died of breast cancer, she would approve of this.
I have lost too many people to cancer so I always donate to the American
Cancer Society. Why not? I might benefit from their help some day.
I say "f" them all, why should I encourage anyone to contribute to a
worthwhile charity.
