I guess I'm out of the loop. I've had most of the NG on ignore, and haven't
been following a lot of the threads. What type of operation was it?

John had apparently been walking around with an Aortic Aneurysm for a while now
and they were aware of it. After some recent changes they decided to go in and
repair it, done, he will be home next week.
