Saying "a marina in BC somewhere" is equivalent to saying "On the
West Coast of the US somewhere". Do you really mean in the
Vancouver or Victoria area, or are you willing to accept a birth
quite a bit farther to the North or West. I would expect that
declining fishing fleets have left a lot of berths avaialable
North of Nanaimo, but you'd spend a day to get to your boat
from the major cities.

I have tried to contact marinas via e-mail, but no one seems to have
anything for a boat with my beam.

You may have to accept a berth in a commercial marina to get that
beam--- 23' beam probably means you would occupy two berths in
most small craft marinas.

Any suggestions?

In my experience one of the more user friendly marinas has been Genoa
Bay Marina. They should be able to accommodate a vessel of your
dimensions.
