But the law even if called does nada. The Federal Government is
failing in one of their primary duties. That is protecting the
nation.

I think one of the biggest problems this country has is our
political leaders' tendency to "fix" a problem by simply passing
a law. It's lunacy. Makes the political blow-hards sound like
they are on top of the issues, but the endless barrage of new laws
they author and pass are worthless if they are unenforceable or
the will to enforce them is lacking.

As I said, we have plenty of law on the subject. It's enforcement,
and that has to be funded for it to be effective. This was true
during lead up to the Madoff situation also.

Funding is not the problem. "Will" is the lacking item.

You're wrong. The enforcement effort has been hamstrung by lack of
funds. Look it up.

We are overspending. Funding was not a problem. Will to fix the
problem is the problem.

Uh huh... so, when it actually takes money to fix a problem, we're
overspending, but when we go to war without a valid reason and spend
trillions, that's ok.

Troll.

So, basically, you're in denial about reality.

Nope. The reality, is there is no will by the leaders to fix the problem.

Like I said, you don't know the facts and won't listen to them when
presented with them. And you call me a troll???
