Went to Gold Beach, OR last week and ran the Rogue with a few others.

Nice boat. Perhaps you can run over some mountain lions with it when you
get a chance. I heard they target swimmers.

A little info on lions and lion attacks. Notice the amount of children
attacked. Here in California we have lots of lions. We have had lions
spotted at the middle school, and couple hours later at the k-5 school.
Figured was same lion. Friends raise sheep on the edge of town. They have
had a few killed over the last few years by lions. At least 2 of the lions
have been killed by the state. Still warnings about hiking Pleasanton
Ridge. Between Hayward and Pleasanton. Two urban areas. But lots of feed
in the area. Deer, turkey, children, rabbits, ground squirrels.
