If we move up to something bigger, it would probably be an F250. Don't
need
anything more than that, as long as it had a good diesel.

Really isn't much difference between a F250 and a F350 other than spring
blocks and official factory ratings. *But, depending on what you are towing,
you need to make sure the rating (even if it's just on paper) is high enough
to be legal.

Something along the 25-28 foot fifth wheel. The 250 is a pretty popular tow
vehicle from what we've seen at the campsites.

I'm a big fan of a motorhome with a towed rather than a trailer/fifth
wheel and a big hauler.

Unless you can afford to park the hauler and use it only for your
camping trips, you're stuck driving this big freaking vehicle around
all the time... including when camping.

With the class A, you drive it to/from your destination. Then you
drive your towed vehicle around, and it can be anything fun/economical/
cool that you want. Plus you can make sandwiches, the wife can go to
the bathroom and dry her hair while going down the road. While not
camping, the behemoth is parked.

Unless you need that F350 for something else, I don't see the upside.
But that's me.
