I agree this guy is a terrorist, just as much as McVeigh, the shoe
bomber and the jock strap jihadist.
I also agree with Scotty that the Sea Shepards, ELF tree spikers and
ski lodge arsonists, along with abortion clinic bombers and the people
who used to burn draft centers are terrorists too.
Anyone who is willing to endanger life to promote their cause is a
terrorist.
Unfortunately that makes John Adams a terrorist too ... at least that
is what King George thought.

I find it intellectually dishonest to include Adams in with McVeigh and
others. I don't believe KG thought that at all. The revolutionaries were
viewed as traitors.

The practice of targeting british officers was seen as a violation of
the rules of war and we did do a lot of ambush shootings, again seen
as war crimes in those days.
Perhaps more on point would be the terrorist activities of the early
Zionists against the British in Palestine. Guys like Begin were
clearly terrorists in the 20th century way.

While the Sea Shepards try to disable shipping isn't what I would choose,
they are making a point that needs to be made. They are far more at risk of
dying by the hands of own actions and those of the Japanese than the
reverse.

Perhaps that is true when the SS are in their RIBs and speed boats but
when they are using the mother ship to ram a whaler, loss of life is
clearly a possibility. The ELF arsonists and tree spikers are clearly
a life threatening hazard to workers.

I am sure in the back woods of Canada there are a few who spiked trees
and were never heard from again. Dirty business. But also why I don't
support Greenpeace, in reality they are eco-terrorist business.
