US Weather Bureau Report
The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and
in
some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to
a
report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consul Ifft, at
Bergen, Norway. Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and
explorers, he
declared, all point to a radical change in climate conditions and
hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Exploration
expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met with as far
north as 81 degrees 29 minutes. Soundings to a depth of 3,100
meters
showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have
been
replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued,
while
at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.
Very
few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic,
while
vast shoals of herring and smelts, which have never before
ventured so
far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.
I'm sorry, I neglected to mention that this report was from 2nd
November, 1922 as reported by the AP and published in The
Washington
Post.
So, basically what you're saying is that because of some anecdotal
evidence
back in 1922, the current deluge of scientific data that confirms
adverse
climate change should be ignored, even including the US military
assessment
that it's a security concern.
Hey, nincdepoop, can't you read? He said, "US Weather Bureau Report

Now, what is so hard to understand there?
WAFJ!
Hey bozoboy.... it was from 1922 and one report!! Perhaps you haven't
learned much since then, but I'm pretty sure they have.
So basically what you're saying is you were trying to put words in
his
mouth.
OK, got it.
I guess you're just a liar.
WAFJ!

Who's mouth? I'm sure you're really familiar with putting "things" in
"his"
mouth.

Brilliant attempt, D'Plume. That was a desperate line and a poor
excuse for a come back, yet a brilliant attempt anyhow.
She (right) is starting to sound a lot more like Harry every day... It's
almost
as if waaay back when everyone was ignoring Harry he ran up stairs and
invented
a name and a personality. Less crass than his original, but just as
stupid. I
knew he couldn't remain civil for long, looks like with his audience
getting
slim, he is getting desperate...

In the mind of a racer, that checkered flag means nothing once you go by
it.
It was your "last" win, and all you think about is changing that
Fortunately, you don't have to go waaay back to being stupid.
