It's really easy to do, take the situation here and turn it around.

Go to political forums and make boating posts!

?;^ )

That ought to clean the place up....

you also might consider not responding to the id spoofers...

You're right. I suppose I shouldnt' respond to threads like this one.
It might have been sarted by a spoofer.

It's hard to tell who the spoofers are. so I'll be sure to stay
clear.

No, it isn't hard to tell who the spoofers are. It's quite easy.
As for the post you referenced, it obviously was started by me.-

Well, OK. I ca't tell with all the spoofing going on. All I see is
"Harry" So.. which one?

1. My posts usually do not have spelling or grammar errors. I also
usually post complete thoughts and complete sentences,I have a better
command of English, and I don't make snarky comments about Don or Nom
or JPS or the few other non-right-wingers here.

2. The user agent line on the headers that accompany my posts state:

"Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7)
Gecko/20100111 Thunderbird/3.0.1"

I use Mozilla to post, and I use an Apple Mac computer, and I use
the Apple Mac Operating System X 10.6. As far as I know, all the
spoofers here are using Windoze PCs.

IOW - In order to "enjoy" this group and all of it's fine boating
discussions, you have to look at every header from the people who ****ed
someone off enough to impersonate them and then decide if you want to
respond. Have fun with that, Tim!
