"The Boat U.S. Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water is
offering local community nonprofit groups grants of up to $4,000 each
to develop projects that address environmental and safety problems on
local waterways. "
$4000,00 bucks doesn't sound like much but when you spread around many
of those packages, it's a pretty good deal.
Yeah and if was used by a group like power squadron for promotional
materials such as pens and posters, they could reach a lot of people.
Yeah, pens and posters will go a long way towards cleaning up polluted
waterways. And let's get some bumper stickers, too.
After all, if the money were used for clean-up, or to help an
environmental group put a bit of pressure on a corporation-owned state
legislature, why...something good might happen.
So does 4000 bucks, but that doesnt' go very far either. You do what
you can.
