Up in NH he said "Don't buy a boat."
Went after Las Vegas too, and Harry Reid is ****ed.
Where did you read that?
What part did you miss? It was in the paper here.
The context was "if you are broke" but he did say it and the people in
Las Vegas were ****ed. I assume boat builders are ****ed too. They
both count on people spending a lot more than they can afford.
The Las Vegas mayor was on the news expressing his opinion of 'Bama
last night. It wasn't good.
Here's both parts.

Proud member of the angry mob. If you're not outraged,
you're not paying attention.

I lived in Las Vegas for over fifty years. I know Oscar Goodman, the mayor.
He was once the attorney for Anthony Spilotro, infamous gangster who would
kick the **** out of a guy for looking at him the wrong way, and he didn't
care where you were at.
Oscar is well known, and a hell of a mayor. A hell of a lawyer, too. He is
also a standup guy who you would not want to cut in line in front of or
steal a parking spot from. He once said about taggers who were defacing the
new freeway that they should take them out and break their thumbs.
You notice Obama says nothing of him and Michelle and two hundred
hairdressers, shoe polishers and nose hair trimmers jumping on a plane to go
have dinner somewhere. And YES, YES, YES, he does mention that we should
cut back on boats in that clip. Like my $1500 Lund and going fishing once
in a while at $10 a pop is something decadent. He pays that much for a
bottle of Evian or a shot of oxygen when he is traveling.
Absolutely amazing, and I'm glad that he's not getting a pass like he used
to.
