There are lots of used boats in salvage and foreclosure yards these
days. Prices there are a lot more realistic and negotiable than with
a private seller. Most of the private sellers are upside down on
their financing, sometimes by a lot. They have no room to negotiate
because they can't afford to sell for less than what they owe.
