So, I've found that a three-quarter swing and a swing speed in the
80-90 mph range tends to give me a drive which stays within shouting
distance of the fairway on which I'm playing. As you know, shouting
distance is very important in golf. Those towards whose heads the ball
is travelling at a high rate of speed should be able to hear the word,
"FORE!!"

I always wondered what would happen if you yelled four instead? Could
you be charged if someone got hurt...

Besides, why would anybody standing near a fairway or a green on a golf
course not be watching for flying golf balls anyway? If I hear the word
"fore" do I just hit the ground like a hundred other folks or look
around for a white ball traveling at over 100 MPH?

Scotty, there's a start?

If you hear 'Fore', you should cover your head, at least. But, most
people just look up towards where the shout came from.

No one ever said golfers were 'really smart'. Luckily, I'd guess that
most have insurance for when that ball smacks them in the head.

So let me get this straight... When somebody warns you a deadly
projectile is coming toward you, you stand upright and turn your face in
the direction of the incoming projectile? Man, I knew golfers
were....... Uh, hi John

Pffffffttt

Scotty

We really need a golfer's school where they teach you to drop to the
ground whenever the word 'fore' is heard.

Well, here is a concentration exercise you can do at your own course if
you want to...

Enjoy... and don't smash the computer screen, it's probably a setup
anyway

That's the definition of '****ty', right there.
