Since I might spend 10 hrs a year boating, why in the world would I

I don't have much of a life. I am morbidly obese. I have a nice small
boat, but I can't get anyone to go boating with me. If it wasn't for
rec.boats, I wouldn't have anything to do. Even my wife is grossed
out by my morbid obesity and has banished me to the basement.
