Gross per hour worked, I would agree. Many do make less, but the time
off they get is fantastic.
In net after taxes and spending power, utter bull****. And this is what
counts. How much is left after the essentials.
and how much is left here when you factor in healthcare costs which
are growing faster than they are in europe? what about healthcare for

Yhe reason is simple, US has technology to add and people want it. And
it will cost. People want it, who the hell are we to say they can't
have it if they are willing to pay for it?
In Canada, We have a fantasic health care system, if you survive the
wait and can find a family doctor to get in line. And the differential
in taxes, we should blow you away but do not. People wait months for a
MRI and we are much likely less to get it prescribed.

are better, get sick and try it. Your American coverage is good here
as government loves the income. How many Americans come to Canada for
anything in a government facility? For many Americans Mayo is further

I have lived in the UK, Norway, USA and Canada. I don't even need to

fine. when you give up your healthcare for you and your kids you let
me know, OK?
No one is giving up anything, unless it is the American right to choose.
After all, Obama wants your money and a stright up tax grab isn't
going to cut it. He is using health care as an excuse for more
taxation. That is how the liberals work it. Maximizing the return off
the sheep.
Look at it this way:
Income - taxes + health care. The biggeg the result at the end the better.
Treat health care like taxes but it goes to a different destination.
Then, the US looks pretty damed good. Better services are bonus.
