"Vessel sustained heavy damage when hit by a rogue wave leaving the
inlet. The hard top and framing has broken welds. The dash was dislodged
and the helm console is separated from the dash cabinet. The front
superstructure is fractured at the deck. The port side hull has some
fracutres. The anchor hatch has a fracture as well. All deck hatches
were torn away. The windshield frame and side glasses will need
replacement. There is a bow thruster and the generator is powered by
diesel fuel, and is reported to be locked. The two outboard motors do
run (see photos), and did run under its own power back to its berth
after incident.

A 2' rogue wave, no doubt. *:)
No ****! when I first got that old Chris Craft 20' Sea-V of mine, I
took it out in 4 foot swells on Lake Erie (just cause I HAD to run
it..). I've pounded the **** out of it, and havent had that kind of
luck. As a matter of fact, the day my buddy and I tried to outrun that
Storm, we were 3/4 throttle through huge swells. That day, I didnt
really care, seeing we were being pursued by a Lightning Storm that
was running about 50 mph up behind us.
