Yup...had no choice last year...the 2009 models sold in Canada all came
with
that 'option'.
I see we've gone 'merican in 2010...we can save a couple grand buying a
front wheel drive model.

That's an odd AWD system. Most run continuously and the computer makes
adjustments for traction on the fly. Can you lock it on? You might have
4WD and not AWD.
