Sounds like a winner...25 to 50 new recruits from other groups ought
to be enough to drive home those coffin nails ID spoofers such as
flajim have been pounding here.

This is a strange group. Are you talking Amway-type recruits?

We have a rather disruptive poster here who tends to cross post
political fireworks to several nut job groups when he gets ignored or
otherwise dismissed. Last time it was a nightmare, we had kooks with
800 post threads just calling each other names for months. There is
some good stuff on this board, but a high noise ratio should be
expected. Once you decide to set filters your reading will be much
easier. 4-5 disruptive posters will show themselves soon enough, start
with the name callers and you should do just fine...
We have some real morons here, like tosk and a few others, who have only
added stench to this newsgroup for years, and like flajim, whose only
way to get off is to spoof the IDs of other posters, and post dozens of
posts each day using the IDs of others.
Filter the bum.
