Because a parking space is
worth that much and humans are *completely* in charge of their

So..... you think you might, due to human imperfection.....
uncontrollably fall prey to this sort of violence......?
I wouldn't bother to put myself in that circumstance if I weren't
armed with an ice pick or a gun. *I might conduct myself with an eye
towards survival.
If someone stole my parking space I'd been waiting for I'd likely give
'em the salute but I seriously doubt I'd get out to argue with them or
pull a gun or an ice pick.
Would you, Gene?
No, not intentionally..... * but then, again, tripping all over
talking points... you miss THE point. The guy that got stabbed didn't
get the opportunity to make any of those decisions.... did he? *AND,
lacking appropriate tools, he had no way to defuse the situation....
or prevent her from ventilating his kidneys.....
..... if he's lucky, he'll only spend Christmas and New Year's in the
hospital.... he won't die slowly and painfully of a kidney infection.
Little Sweetie, the perp, will likely get a slap on the wrist and go
on to "bigger and better" things.....

It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are
enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

Your tagline says it all, Gene. You're conducting an exercise in
futility.
