both sides". I don't buy it. IMO, the Republicans would vote No on
anything the Democrats proposed.
Maybe if the dems had let them into the meetings and allowed some of
their core ideas into the bill. It's not hard to see that they were
totally shut out of the whole process...
I know this is really complicated for you, but it was a Democrat caucus.
This claim of the Republicans being "shut out" is complete hog wash. A
significant part of the ongoing process is the search for the mythical
bipartisanship.
