Default Question for Peggy Hall

I'll save Peggy the trouble. KO stands for Kills Odors and comes from
Raritan.

Prevention and cure are two different issues, Dave...Casey recommends
Lysol to prevent mildew, not cure it. So while Lysol MAY prevent mildew,
you're faced with curing an existing problem, which narrows down your
choices to only two--'cuz you not only want to kill off the mildew
spores, you also want to get rid of the odor.

Some people have excellent results with Febreze...others find it
necessary to continually re-treat with it. I've yet to hear from anyone
who needed to repeat the "K.O. and sunshine" cure. And, it's what I used
on my own boat.

So pick the one you like best. If they were my cushions, I'd start with
the non-chemical bacteria treatment and use chemicals only if that
didn't work...'cuz if you start with a chemical, and it doesn't work,
the chemical could prevent the bacteria from working.
