The real facts are that the current bill is 2700+ pages. Plus it also
has over 100 references to items that leave the implementation to the
Dept of health and services. We do not know what to do, so the
Secretary of the Dept can do what she wants. This is one fubar bill.
Does nada for lowering the cost of healthcare for the small percentage
of those without insurance, just who pays for it. Same people that
always have. The taxpayers.


Come one. On the one hand loonies complain that the bill is too long,
then others such as yourself complain it's too long. Which is it?

I believe it's actually 2047 pages, but so what? Implementation is
typically left to the departments. There's no way to include every
possible action in a bill. More right wing diatribe that has nothing to
do with healthcare reform. You really need to stop getting your talking
points from talk radio.

A bill of this size and import should not leave a lot of the critical
items to be solved later by the dept. The Legislators can not argue the
implementations.



Every bill has wiggle room for implementation. It's not feasible to have it
otherwise. When you become an expert in the legislative process, do get back
to us.
