Yep. It is worth mentioning self-bonding stretch rubber tape to keep the
weather away from the coax connectors. West-marine will sell it for $7
or $8 a roll, or Harbor Freight for perhaps half that...
The kind of electrical insulating film you paint on screw connections
can keep corrosion at bay too.
To say the obvious, nobody ever uses (even waterproof) screw nuts to
connect wires in a marine environment. Bad enough to know your home is
rigged that way....
