I've heard cherry is a good alternative to teak and was wondering about
using the plastic deck lumber for things like handholds, toe and rub rails.
Anyone here have experience with plastic lumber for exterior trim?

I have a dock surfaced with plastic lumber. * It looks good but is not
nearly as strong as teak. *Cherry looks good on boat interiors but
I've never heard of it being used on the exterior.

I have a feeling, like white oak, if it gets wet it is gonna' change
color to black. Not only that, but compared to Teak, it's pretty heavy
iirc...
