A few shots taken on the IJsselmeer near Hindeloopen. A few miles out of
Hindeloopen we were becalmed during a very good close-hauled tack (3-4
beaufort) from Medemblik. After about 30 minutes wait, including a swim we
were able to hoist sails and be on our way. The HI-1 Lemsteraak shown on
the pictures was quite impressive, as is seemingly effortless sailed
close-
hauled. I wasn't able to catch her, which is quite logical as my Trintella
measures only 9 meters against 16 metres for the Lemsteraak. Don't be
fooled by the traditional appearance, she's built to race.
