I like some of Ives' works. His String Quartet #1 comes to mind, as does
some of his solo piano pieces. There is or was a professor at Wesleyan
who recorded some interesting Ives' vocal pieces.
One of his pieces that I think is rather provocative and even
enjoyable to listen to is "Central Park in the Dark." He was
obviously a talented composer, just a tad eccentric. He definitely
marched to the beat of a different drum.
