I just looked at the buoy data and the Gulf is 80F at 42003 about 100
miles west of Naples. Wind is gusting about 30.

42039 up closer to you only shows 76.6F water so I doubt you will see
much of a storm. The water is too cold.
Only a Floridian would say 76 degrees is cold water.
