Your U.S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises
for 2009.

1. They voted to not give you a S.S. cost of living raise in 2010
and
2011.

2. Your Medicaid premiums will go up $285.60 for the same 2-years and
you will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is
$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.

3. Over those 2-yrs they each get $10,000

4. Do you feel SCREWED?

5. Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes -
food, etc., increase? NO WAY . They have a raise and better benefits.
Why
should they care about you? You never did anything about it in the
past.

Maybe we are "too stupid or don't care".

6. Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barney, et
al, care about you? SEND THE MESSAGE-- You're FIRED.

IN 2010 YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GET RID OF THE SITTING CONGRESS: Up
to
1/3 OF THE SENATE, AND
100% OF THE HOUSE.

(Each voting season the democrats warn seniors that Republicans will
reduce their benefits, to this I say, look back through the years to
see
who really screws the seniors).

MAKE SURE YOU'RE STILL MAD IN NOVEMBER 2010 & 2012 AND REMIND THEIR
REPLACEMENTS NOT TO SCREW UP.

NO INCUMBENTS IN 2010

Historically, it's unlikely. It's something like 90% are returned to
sit.

And that is one of our main problems.

You, who argues against the naïveté of Obama wants to put our congress
in the hands of neophytes?

Cognitively dissonanant much?

Neophytes? They could not screw up more than the POS group we got now.
Most newcomers to Congress at least have some business experience. Not
required for the POTUS position.

As far as lawmaking is concerned, most of 'em need a few years to find
their asses with both hands.

That's who you want drafting law? They'd be totally dependent on
outsiders who already knew the system. Have you enjoyed how lobbyists
have guided our legislation the last several decades?

Maybe we should just outsource drafting law to Goldman Sachs, Boeing
and Blackwater.
