In this post I plan to cite some of Capt. Rob Brody's more numerous
failings and let you, the reader, decide for yourself how to react.

Here's my side of the story: I know more about sailboats than most
people. You might even say that I'm an expert on the subject having sailed
extensively and lived aboard since 1985. I can therefore state with
confidence that Rob has a very limited proficiency with sails and even
less acumen when it comes to being a man. He'd rather play stay-at-home
dad and let his wife put money in his pocket. As you listen to Rob's
bull****, chances are you won't even notice how his lies build upon
themselves to the point where he's managed to convince himself that he's a
sailor and a man. Only later, after you realize you've been duped, will
you truly understand that his delusional fantasies stem from a desire to
be viewed as a man instead of a man stuck doing a woman's job.

Perhaps one day we will live in a world where sailors will stand up
and reject talk-a-good-game-but-know-nothing wannabes like Capt. Rob.
Until that day arrives, however, I must spread the word that Rob's
so-called sailing is little more than a floating-at-the-dock and
very-close-to-the-dock-while-stuck-on-a-rock day care center for pale
chubby women babysitters and screaming, slobbering children. In spite of
this, Capt. Rob remains an attention hound who preys upon the gullible,
the ignorant and the know-nothings. He seeks their constant approval to
keep from becoming depressed with his stay-at-home-dad lifestyle. As a man
he's a liberated failure, no doubt about it. Keep that in mind while I
state the following: Rob truly believes that his posting bull**** posts,
photos and videos impresses the audience. What kind of Mickey Mouse world
is he living in? We real sailors know how big a fraud Mr. Homemaker really
is.

The two things I just mentioned—the way that Rob thinks we can't
recognize a fraud when we see one and how he only succeeds in fooling
himself, just go to show how pathetic an individual he really is. He's
substituted materialism and showing off to try to compensate for not being
able to be the bread winner and wearing the skirt in his marriage. The
common thread is a life of frustration, unhappiness, desperation,
depression and loneliness. I'm even beginning to think he's a closet
homosexual. Rob criticizes me for exposing wannabe, pretend sailors like
himself and he does it because he constantly fails to show by example that
he can sail. He is unable to refute my assertions so he resorts to the
liberal sham of an ad hominem attack. Every photo he posts, every video,
every written word says it all - "I can't sail; I haven't a clue and I
think my audience is too stupid to know it and will fall for my bull****."
If he wants to play sailor he should possess real and substantial
knowledge about sailing - not how to operate a floating daycare center on
and around the dock and record it on YouTube for the whole world to see.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we lived in a world without fat, heart
attack-prone, obscene showboaters? Let's be frank: We find among narrow
and uneducated minds the belief that sailing is for everybody . . . That
even a liberal can do it. Simply not so! as liberals can't do the simplest
of tasks without demanding somebody help them or pay for what they do
which is fail. This belief is due to a basic confusion that can be cleared
up simply by stating that if Rob can overawe and befuddle a sufficient
number of newsgroup, hangers-on individuals then it will become virtually
impossible for anyone to take up the mantle and provide you with a
holistic and thematic history of Rob's follies and failures.

For those of us who earned our respect by stepping up to the plate and
sailing the seven seas for decades and getting the facts out about those
who only pretend in the hope that somebody else will take heed and ignore
Capt. Rob's bad example and follow ours instead, it is important to
consider that Rob's blatherings always follow the same pattern. He puts
the desired twist on the actual facts, ignores inconvenient facts, and
invents as many new "facts" as necessary to convince us that we aren't
sailors and he is. Yah Right! As if even the stupidest of us can't see
through his chicanery.

I was thinking about how it's quite sad that Rob chooses to squander
his talent on this sort of misdirection. Why doesn't he sit down and write
some fiction books? He's obviously gifted in the writing of fiction. And
then it hit me. He's not disciplined enough and his having to do the
laundry, vacuum the floors, do the dishes and dusting and cooking leaves
no time for any extended project.
