Sounds like an alternator output to me. I've got the same thing but it
comes out of a black box just below the fly wheel.

Does anyone know what the 2 wires in a blue covering, coming out of the
flywheel area, are for? They have connectors on them, but don't connect to
anything. I suspect it might be for alternator output. It is a pull start
motor.
