Looks like I'm stuck here for now... two huge trees got blown over the
access road. We're having 60 mph winds today and tonight forecast.
Fortunately, the house is protected with UPS, so I can still work, but I
was supposed to go out with friends. My neighbor said he's come by and
chainsaw them so I can get out, but that'll be tomorrow. It's too
dangerous to be out right now. I'm amazed nothing has hit the house that's
bigger around than a baseball bat (10 or so hits so far). The little lake
is all stirred up, and it looks like someone's dinghy is sunk next to the
dock.

How big are your UPS batteries? They're generally big enough to get
everything shut down properly.

We're gettin' some wx here as well.
