I've fished with a guy out of Fall River who has a 40 something
trimaran - It's a really interesting experience.

And it's capable and stable enough to do it. Can't do a lot of custom
rigging for bait wells and such, but as a fishing platform, they do
offer some other benefits.

Still too slow for me though. :)
