The Onion keeps getting better and better.
Tea parties are for little girl and Glenn Beck believers. Glenn Beck
is seriously mentally ill, as is his followers.
The best that can be said for the guy is that he's a
phony:'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9j_SWbpOH0
I worry for our future with people who think Beck is actually saying
something worthwhile.
I'm no fan of Beck. He's the right's answer to Harry Krause. I have
tried to watch his program a couple of times and give up by the first
commercial break. Same is true for Hannity.
George Will and Charles Krauthammer are my favorite conservatives,
now that Bill Buckley has departed the scene.
Why do you say:
"The Tea Party that counts is November 2, 2010" if you aren't a
follower of that crazy guy?
Tea parties are the ultimate manipulation of conservatives.
Neither Beck, Hannity, nor Limbaugh, et al have a copy right on the term
or tactic. The left is the greatest threat to freedom of speech in this
country. the opposition to the "tea party" rallies around the country is
a prime example of my point. If the liberals really did believe in
freedom of speech, they would debate the issues rather than launch ad
hominem personal attacks on opponents.
From what I have seen of the "tea parties," their purpose is to give voice
to personal attacks on politicians and ideas the conservatives don't like.
