weeks before I went to work there. 11 weeks and the settled for what

company offered in the first place. I was eligible for a 5 cent raise

I left. To get any more money 253 people had to either quit or die

to get into the next pay grade. And I had excellent reviews.
and, of course, the company won 8 nobel prizes and invented modern
SQC...all with a unionized workforce

The union members weren't the ones who earned those credits.

Outside contractors too....

The union can't tie their own shoes without a meeting and a bargaining
session.
