your idea of "serious winter weather" and mine are quite a bit
different.
70 is a cool day here in south FL once you get acclimated and your
blood thins out a little, even in January/February. You feel it most
coming out of a heated pool into the air.
I caught a chill the other night getting out of the pool. It was down
to 84 or so but there was a breeze.
We had a frost warning last week.
Try getting out of your pool into that!
That is hot tub weather. Once you get super heated in 102-104F water,
you can walk around for a while before you get cold.
I have been up north, I just don't want to do it any more.
I was up nawth this summer. Wearing a jacket in July is not my cup of tea.
We had a real cold year... Global Taxing you know... We got washed
out. Something like three days without rain in July or something like
that I heard... I know we did not have one weekend where it didn't rain
friday and saturday night, all night long...
