I was on death watch all day today, finally had to come home. We had
about 50 people come in today, my dad is a great man with more friends
than anyone I know. There is a reason for that of course...

Dad is back with his Peachy Pet...

Robert Ellsworth Ingersoll May 11, 1917 - September 21, 2009

Scott, sorry to hear the sad news. I'm sure you will miss him a lot.
Condolences to you and your family.

Sorry to hear that Scotty....... we went through this 7 years ago with Dad
and had three close calls in May/June with Mom.
Looks like we're all the 'older generation' now.

Condolences for your Dad. *Yes, it is the changing of the guard.

It was a pleasure to talk with you thismorning, Scott. Rest assured
you did your job, and did it well. I know what it's like to take care
of aged parents. some painstaking, but many more rewards above and
beyond.

Mr. Ingersoll relied on you and you can take comfort and pride in
knowing that you did everything in your capacities to tend to his care
and well being. Even though other matters may have made it
inconvenient for you and your family, you were there at every call,
even to his ending moments. Not only did he, but others recognise you
loved your dad, and he loved you. You treated him with respect and
honor.

You're a good son.
