I went to mount the kicker mount on the Tolman and found the holes on
the new mount cannot be used with the holes in the transom, kinda
figured that'd be the case. So, I drilled out the old holes in the
glass/wood transom and pushed in 1/2" dowels coated with epoxy. I'll
have to grind em down and paint over it before mounting the new kicker
mount. That's the advantage of having built the boat, I don't
hesitate to do such whereas I'd never do it to a boat I owed money on.
