Then you will stay in Mexico, where health care is either partially or
fully subsidized.

But not necessarily better.

I then cross over (it's done daily,
by many) go to the nearest health provider, be it a cancer specialist or
hospital and tell them I need help.

If people cross over for health care, it tends to be the other way, from
America to Mexico, where costs are considerably cheaper.

You mean like Steve McQueen did, right? Do you remember "alternative"
Mexican treatments like coffee enemas and laetrile? You don't?
Why anyone would go to a third world county like Mexico for medical
treatment puzzles me. Because it's cheaper? Hell, here it's free!
Ever hear of Medicaid? "If you can't afford to pay for medical care
right now, Medicaid can make it possible for you to get the care that
you need so that you can get healthy – and stay healthy." **

I owned a wholesale flower business from 1979 to 2002. I employed
only Mexican workers, all which were illegal *but* showed me a SS card
when they were hired. I knew the SS cards were bogus, but I also was
not the police so I did not investigate whether they were genuine or
not. It was not my job. I had a large turnover of employees over the
years and I know about health care in Mexico, not only from what I
heard from them, but from my brother-in-law, who immigrated to the
U.S. from Mexico. He is a physician, a neurosurgeon in fact. So I
probably know more about Mexican health care than most on this group.
If you're a rich Mexican you'll have access to good medical care, by
coming to America! And not only Mexicans, but Canadians, Spaniards
(Jose Carrera, opera tenor) Arab Sheiks from the UAE, from Italy, the
Prime Minister, Desmond Tutu, The King of Tonga, and thousands more
from countries with free medical care. So why America? Why do these
thousands come here when they have "good" medical care in their own
countries? Why?
And now can you imagine the droves of sick people who will come here
for medical treatments when they find out it's free to non-citizens?
Again, no ID required, no proof of U.S. citizenship, no questions of
national status or origin, no questions of birthplace, and again, no
English required, because by law an interpreter *must* be provided. At
no cost of course. Well, no cost to the applicant, but a cost to the
American tax payer. I can just imagine the laughter across the world
after hearing of obamacare and how stupid we must be to allow this to
happen.
btw, I got paid today, and I noticed my net pay is down a little due
to new taxes. And all this despite lower taxes for "95% of Americans"
according to the messiah. I consider myself one of the "95%" and I'm
still waiting for my taxes to go down. Has yours gone down? Anyone?
Just curious
