| It's out, and it's VERY good. I've liked a lot of their stuff in the
| past, and didn't like a lot of their stuff in the past, but this is good!!!

| Thanks for the heads up, man. I'll be looking for it.
| I actually thought they'd broken up.
| I think they may have for awhile. The CD's all live, recorded in front
| of an audience in a recording studio in upstate NY. You can go to their
| website and listen.
| Cool!
| I'll have to try that at home, because here I have dial-up. BUMMER!
| Thanks!
| Hot damn...I was wondering who the last dial-up user in the USA
| was...it's our own Tim!

| yeah, for 14 bucks a month it still works, and I'm only on it minutes
| a day here, jsut when taking a break.
|
| I thought of going Verizon wireless, for really not much more than I'm
| paying for a phone bill now, but that means re wiring the internal
| phone line.
|
| I hate to give up the crank phones though.
|
|True story. We had one of the hand crank generators from an old phone.
|Cat used to get on the outside window sill and lay there, and used it to
|sharpen his claws. My brother took some aluminum foil and covered the
|sill with it, and hooked up the generator!!! Man we had fun! He'd also
|get people to grab the wires, and he'd turn it so slow you could hardly
|feel it, when you got comfortable for a split second, he give it a good
|crank!
We had a shop teacher in Jr. High that would wire up the two rivets in
the drafting stool seat of students that slept in class.
You could almost hear the butt cheeks slapping together at maybe 24
Hertz!
It was a sure cure for sleepiness.....
Once in my shop drafting class, I was in the back row of drafting
tables, where there was lots of shop class ventilation, so I took a can
of contact cement and painted the whole drafting table with it. When it
set up, I rolled it into a ball because it came off of the slick
drafting table pretty easy. Didn't know what I was going to do, so I
threw it into the shop area, that thing bounced around like a SUPER
super ball!- Hide quoted text -
