Thomas Friedman of the NYT, in his frustration that Obama has not been
able to totally destroy the US economy in only 8 months penned an
editorial disclosing the kind of system him and his ilk truly favor:
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/09/op...er=rss&emc=rss
Yes, you do read it right, fascism. Liberals are proposing Chinese
style crony capitalism, ie, fascism. Consider that Friedmans wife's
family was worth over $4 billion in 2007, you will see that he is part
of the elite who would run things. Of course, we need all of these
unelected czars to make policy because they do not answer to the great
unwashed masses. Everyhting Obama has done takes us closer to
Friedmans type of Chavez/Chinese fascism, state ownership of major
manufacturing and the most minute aspect of your lives being
controlled by the unelected health czar.
I wonder if Friedman's partners in this effort to fascize the USA
intend this to be an editorial to see how the public responds or as a
means to familiarize us with the idea so it does not seem so shocking.
I've always thought many liberals were actually fascists but to see it
put so openly is still shocking.
Will we have our own Tianeman Square?

So, Obama is a failure... lol
The mostly white republicans lost last fall's elections to a black man.
The mostly white republicans are ****ed.
Perhaps if they hadn't spent the last eight years screwing over the
country, they might have done better in the elections...if they had had a
candidate whose running mate was an intellectual cipher.

If they had run a decent candidate, the running mate would not matter. And
after the previous 4 years, no Republican was going to win. They won after
4, but screwed the pooch big time. And it seems the Dem's did not pay
attention, as they are exceeding the screw ups of the last 4 years in the
first 100 days. They should not look at guaranteed control of Congress in
another year, or the Executive branch in 3.
