suppose you can blame them for the deficit spending since Jan 6, 2007.



At least that's a bit more accurate. Of course, it's more complicated than
that. The whole of Congress had to vote on it, and then Pres. Bush had to
sign it for it become law. So, if you want you can blame Congress, but the
president has a voice also.

The president submits a proposed budget. Congress mushes it through their
processes and procedures, and out pops the sausage, which is either eaten or
rejected by the president. Sorry... this is the version I tell the kids. lol
