amendments even though they are the exact opposite from what they think
needs to be done?

They should be allowed time in committee, for discussion, instead they
are being summarily dismissed.. Period. That is not compromise, that is
not how our congress was designed..


How much time? Who gets to decide? Last I checked that would be the majority
in Congress.
