Yes I am an at-will employee and I have been an at-will employee all of
my life.

The company I currently work for does not owe me anything and I don't
owe them anything. I do the work they ask me to do and they pay me the
agreed upon salary.

If my value to the company goes down why should they keep me around?
And, if I believe that my value to the company has gone up but the
company doesn't see it that way I am free to seek employment at another
company that values the same as I value myself.

What you don't realize is that your view of the relationship between
worker and corporation is one of indentured servitude. Enjoy your bonded
labor.





Harry speaks from experience. His last employer was Ullico. They cut him
loose after only two years. He was probably one of those under achievers
