Supposedly to put the nail in the coffin of Al Qaeda, and make sure
they don't come back. Nation building started by the Bush crew, and
now supported by Dem and Rep alike.
They've all fallen into the "protect the women" and
"one-person-one-vote" bandwagon too.
Personally, I would get out and let the savages find their own path to
Allah. If they give us trouble later, nuke 'em.
But I'm not a Dem or Rep.

Why? Whether I could do so or not has no bearing on why we're in
Afghanistan. Just admit you can think of no good reason and be done
with it.

Maybe your boy can get the troops home by Christmas, as there's no
reason for keeping them there.
