Can you imagine when sailing in the Bahama area was new and how many
ships must have been lost not knowing what was comming at them.

What was that large Barefoot Cruises sailing vessel lost in the Gulf of Mexico
in a hurricane some years ago? There were some lawsuits where families of the
lost crew blamed the operator for putting to sea. Even when you know what's
coming at you it may not be enough to save you.

Would that be the big sailboat that put to sea in an effort to save
the ship. It got broken up, driven ashore by the high winds.
