Bailing out the financial institution is a constitutional responsibility
of the US congress.
One of the first things the new government of the US did was establish
banks to control and regulate currency. *One of the first large
political debates in the US was over the establishment and regulation
the US banks.
So if the congress did not bailout the banks they would not have been
fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities.
and they bailed out hedge funds like goldman sachs, which are NOT
banks. moreover they also have an obligation to REGULATE banks...which
they abandoned like a fat guy abandoning the titanic...
so it seems the rich write the rules to ensure THEY get their pound of
flesh from the middle class no matter what happens to the economy
thanks. i already knew that.
*( I am still not sure
that biden realizes that by the Constitution he is the head of the US
Senate. *I also understand that this administration and congress do not
fully understand what they are suppose to be doing in Washington.)
chuckle perhaps they should have taken a lesson from bush and
suspended habeas corpus and arrested american citizens without charge
and without trial.
funny you guys lecture obama but kind of forgot what the GOP did for
the last 8 years
conservatives should try to abide by the constitution instead of
trying to destroy it.
