Isn't she the one who recently said protesters of the health reform plan
were un-American?

I think it IS un-American to purposefully LIE about the health reform plan.
There was plenty of misinformation sold as truth in the criticism of
the Bush administration too. I think that was the point.
A good example was the "NSA wiretap" fiasco. If you listened to the
left, they were tapping your phone call to your wife asking what was
for dinner. That would only have been true if you we in Kabul (or some
other terrorist hotbed) at the time. They only tapped a call where at
least one party was in a suspect foreign country and then they looked
for key words in the conversation by computer, not sitting there with
the head set on..
Personally I don't have any expectation of privacy on any
international call. If my government wasn't listening, I would expect
another one to be.
The way we all get abused in the drug war, I don't even expect much
privacy in my local calls. All it takes is a friend of a friend of a
friend to be under investigation and they might tap their whole phone
tree.
If I'm talking to my friend in St. Petersburg, Russia, and say
something bad about either Lukoshenko (my friend's Bellarussian) or
Obama, I always apologize to both immediately for the very reason you
mention.
