Congratulations. I quit in April of last year, 55 years too late to avoid
COPD.

Thanks Lu. My COPD was discovered after 37 years of smoking. But I was
able to continue smoking for another two years! Luckily the COPD
hasn't become worse, and it hasn't affected my lung capacities much.

Congratulations on your quit! It's a hard thing to do, but it doesn't
take long for the good effects to begin showing.
